The hatches that lead nowhere are now defining me?

Where did it go?

Dissolving sensibility

I ruminate

With fleeting thoughts
Shadows creeping up the wall
Their grotesque shapes
Wild, shaking in despair
Heart beating quickly
It’s now unbearable
I’ve lost it all again

Drifting in the night
Counting the days slowly
Cast a light upon the ground
Guiding my path to recovery

We all have a cross to bear
A hardship to carry
We all have a misery
A heartache to bury

Run away and close the blinds
I cannot bear to see
Try to comprehend the world
And realize that I’ve been deceived
